If this car park is full you can park at padang merbok car park or the taman botani perdana formerly known as lake gardens multi storey car park. 4 000 trees consisting of more than 230 indigenous rainforest species have been reintroduced within the site. The taman tugu is located to the north of taman botani perdana with tugu negara in the south west padang merbok in the south east and bank negara s lanai kijang to the east of the site.

It was really a refreshing experience and it is properly guided so everyone follows the trail in a single way. However i would recommend just getting food at the tugu view cafe as it s more reliably open for business and the ambience is also nicer as nice as an outdoor food court can be anyway since you re not eating. Yup taman tugu surprises us with its 3km walking trail amongst the green filled with oxygen. Free parking bays are available at the taman tugu nursery.

Taman tugu is a welcome addition to kl s green spaces which are under constant threat from urban development. Entrance to the park is free. The park is open daily from 7 30am 6 30pm with the last entry at 5 45pm. Located to the north of taman botani perdana with tugu negara in the south west taman tugu is a public park with about 40 acres consisting of approximately 4km of forest trails.

I m a hardcore mountain biker with a passion for opening new trails through virgin jungle. The site is contiguous with taman botani perdana separated only by jalan parlimen and will be an expansion of that green space.
